Finaly I can write this quickly, because I can use an american keyboard. So I'm exausted, but don't want to go to sleep until my keys arrive (long story, don't ask).  France was incredibly fun and incredibly draining, and all I want to do right now is go home to my house and see my family.  I'll write a more reflective post later, if I remember.

So Today we went shopping on the Champs Elysee.  I am having a better day than yesterday, and am glad to be here.  But at the same time, I can't wait to get home, where I can be loud and I know how to use the keyboard, and where my money goes farther (our economy stinks; today I saw dollars being sold for 74 cents Euro.)  Tonight I think that we are going out to a bar/club thing as a group.  But I might not go, I'm pretty tired.

I went up to the very top of the eiffel tower today.  It was snowing.

Last night a random french guy invited me to have a drink with him. (I think he was trying to flirt with rachel, but he invited us all)

I dislike subways.

I'm going to eat now.  Bye.

money problems suck

If my parents read this before the bank closes- I might need some mponey so I can pay susan back for the hotel- check your e-mail.

I'm in paris, and besides the fact that my debit card wouldn't let me pay for the hotel; I am having fun.  We walked to Notre Dame today.  I'll say more tommorow.

So people actually read this YAY!  I don't have much time right now, but Today is our last full day in St. Jean.  We visited an elementary school today, and gave them americain food.  I got to play soccer with french kids.  I do not know how to play soccer, so It was interesting.  The little kids were really really cute.  I also got to try and explain Jimmy Buffet to the french High schoolers in their english class.
Yesterday we went to Grenoble, and nous avons fait du shopping (we went shopping for all of y'all who don't speak french)  I bought a scarf; some earings, and a KYO cd.  I'm wearing my scarf and dangling earings with my hair back today, and someone told me that I look very french.  It made me happy. I must go now, but I'll probably post after dinner tonight.

So, because nobody is adding comments, I have no idea who actually cares about my trip in france, so I am going to assume that no one cares, and am going to write about how I really feel, not about what i am doing.
Today I woke up at 4 in the morning, just because I wasn't tired anymore.  I made myself sleep for another hour, then read until it was time for me to go down stairs for breakfast.  I don't like eating breakfast, somehow it makes me more hungary by lunch.  My legs are sooo sore from skiing yesterday- and I think I'm the only one who is suffering (everyone else stoped before me)  When I woke up this morning, my left knee was swollen, which made me upset, because that one is the good knee; so now I am walking up and down hills on two bum knees, I hurt a lot.  I was excited last night, at dinner, because I could have a quaisi conversation with my french family.  we talked about what sort of french music and movies I knew, and what americain music, movies, and television shows they knew.  The little brother, who I think is around emily and catherine's age (he's in middle school) knew a lot of americain movies.  I wish the twins, espescaily emily could meet him, he's a drummer, so he bangs on everything, just like emily!
just about everyone else gets to go out at night, but because i am not in staying in town, I don't get to join in on all the fun.   I want  to experince everything, including the night life, but  I know that it is impossible right now.
Today we visited an english class filled with french boys.  I have always heard that  americains were loud, but this class was louder than anything I've ever seen in the states.   I think I need to go now, more later!
